Ty Schieber Wins Garrisonville Race – Endorsed by Frank McKinney

Over 300 people turned out Monday night for the purpose of nominating a Republican candidate for the office of Garrisonville Board of Supervisor Member. Of those, 288 registered to vote, and 275 ballots were cast. And of those 275 ballots cast, Ty Schieber received 77% of the vote and Frank McKinney received 23%. Ty Schieber will now be the Republican candidate for the April 3rd Special Election.

Redistricting

The county and the state have completed redistricting.   The county has a few changes in how the Supervisor districts are laid out.  You can see the new district map here.
The state redistricting process brought more change to Stafford County.  The county will get a new House of Delegate district.  House District 2 will include parts of north Stafford and will continue on to eastern Prince William County.
